Hi there. I was hoping i can get some help with regards to this.
So for starters i use a 15 inch macbook pro with mac OSX version 10.6.8
processor is 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory is 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3 (Im not talking about dance dance revolution, this is actually what it says)
The problem:
Firstly, whenever i start any version of dolphin, i get this warning
"wxWidgets Debug Alert
Externals/wxWidgets3/src/common/intl.cpp(1036): assert "info" failed in IsAvailable(): invalid language
so im not sure what thats about, i thought it might be related to my emulated wiimote problem.
The emulated wiimote configuration keeps screwing around with me. Like whenever i click one of the buttons to configure, and it says [waiting], i press the key i want and nothing works, this also happens with the mouse moving part which has the IR at the top. So generally i have to right click and set the button controls right? Well this works with the rest of the configuration except for the IR thing. Since it doesnt automatically change it i had to change it myself. For example, the default setting would be Cursor Y-, it says that nothing is bound at the bottom, so i checked for the options and i got Axis Y- instead. It seemed to work so i went for that. So then i tried to play Metroid Prime trilogy but i cant even get past the "create a save" screen because whenever i move the mouse, the pointer move ever so slightly it has no effect, and then whenever i stop moving my mouse, it goes back to its position in the middle of the screen. I've looked all over the internet for answers and have found zilch. Is this a mac issue? Or is it a version issue or a computer issue or what? Any help would be appreciated.
Also i doubt its metroid prime thats the problem because in the configuration screen, the little square area where the little dot goes red if you move your mouse, it would also go back to its original place so this definitely does seem to be a dolphin issue.
I've tried two different versions of Dolphin for mac, version 7723 and 7550. Are those dolphins simply not working? Should i try a couple of more? which ones work best if i should?
Thanks!
