emulated wiimote problem

Hey guys. I am trying to get a setup for super Mario galaxy 1 and 2 on my computer. I do not have a wii note anymore so I was just emulating the control scheme on my keyboard.
Problem is when I load up my game it does some error that says I need to reconnect the Wii remote and press a without tilting the stick.
I have done alt5 100 times and still no connection to what I am doing is happening on the screen. I play melee with a GameCube controller so I don't know what I am doing wrong here. Can one of you guys help me out?

Did you configure the emulated Wiimote? Can we have some screenshots for your Wiimote settings/pages.

I am having this same issue. But with me I am playing Animal Crossing, and I get to play until I leave my comp for a few minutes then it acts as a WII console normally would and disconnects the emulated wiimotes.

With me I don't even have the option to play. It just has the Wii remote is disconnected screen
