I have played through Return to Dream Land in two player with no issues, as well as Wii Play Tanks and House of the Dead 2 and 3. I have also played through the minigames in Wii Party and Mario Party 8, although both of those have a few minigames that won't start on netplay. Getting back to this particular game, since the Wii remote is only used on the initial startup, there is even less reason it would cause any problems.

Once you're "synced" Wiimote netplay was fine. Getting to that point could take days of debugging and work making sure the emulator was happy. If you really want to play Wiimote netplay, use older builds. If you want the feature to work well, you're going to have to wait.
