Hey, I've tried loading a game on Dolphin but for some reason i can't press any buttons and can only get to the loading screen of games because of it.
I've tried all the device options in the configure menu, and alot of dolphin versions, im using OSX El Capitan
I can't find a solution with google after some searching.
i would like to play some games so if anyone could give any advice it would help.

Also the controls work on the configure screen and i can even access the wii menu and i tried the controller settings no luck

What game are you trying to play? Can you post a screenshot of the settings of the emulated Wiimote?

That's not an emulated Wiimote, that's an emulated GameCube controller. I think your Dragon Ball games will work with an emulated GameCube controller. Skyward Sword isn't going to work with any kind of emulated controls, though.

You won't be able to play your Dragon Ball games with an emulated Wiimote alone. Either set the Wiimote's extension controller to Nunchuk and configure that too, or just use an emulated GameCube controller instead. Shouldn't the game tell you something if you lack a Nunchuk, though...?

You just use it, like in any other situation. Note that if both the GameCube controller and Wiimote are mapped to the same buttons and are connected at once, the game will pick up on Wiimote inputs when you only want to be using the GameCube controller. Disable the emulated Wiimote (change it from Emulated Wiimote to None) to fix that.

So i ended up buying a dolphinbar and a wiimote, and more problems followed. It recognizes the wiimote and is connected but i can't seem to install the firmware since it is for windows even when i use the app Wine. I cannot get the wiimote to function in controller settings of dolphin either. So im assuming i need to install the firmware
