Any good configuration for controlling the bug/beetle with an Xbox 360 controller in Skyward Sword? It seems next to impossible especially when the bug is going in the wrong directions than I am moving the analog stick.

Here are the tricks I'm using: I'm keeping both 11-27 and 11-28 revisions on my folder. I usually play on 11-27 because 11-28 glitches the fuck out of everything for me and I can't configure it properly for some reason. Using 11-27 it's perfectly fine, I just can't pass some parts like rolling the eye balls. So I save state on 11-27 and switch to 11-28, pass it and go back to 11-27. Controlling the Bug is the same as controlling the Bird basically, and I'm able to do that on 11-27 with a Gyro setting of 60+ while holding the Modifier down. It's flawless. ALSO: THE MOUSE POINTER. If it isn't IN THE EXACT MIDDLE OF THE SCREEN IT'LL SCREW UP EVERYTHING even if you turn IR off for some reason. So I keep it at the middle while turning on the Hide Mouse Cursor option. If I don't leave the cursor on the middle of the screen, the Bird will fly by itself like it's posessed. Same for the beetle.

well i pretty much playn this game with no probblem id say the only thing that would disturb my emulated gameplay would b changing sensitivity bbut me n my ps3 controller r good till its perfected
oh and this is just my opinion butt out of all the 3.0 rev i think 190 is the fastest Spoiler: 12-01-2011, 09:45 AM
You said you switched to get past the eyeball part. How did you do this with 11-28? Or... what settings did you use on the 11-28 when you made the circle to get past the eyeball. I have the PAL version so I am unable to d/l the NTSC save state.
I just can't seem to make a big smoothe circle (with keyboard and mouse) to make the eye go crazy and open the door. The funny part is I can configure this successfully to do a horizontal spin-attack and a vertical spin-attack (and shield bashes, rolls, fatal blows, everything), and you'd think the eye wouldn't like that, but nope. It needs a big ol' smoothe circle. 12-01-2011, 10:06 AM
I M NEAR THE 5TH TEMPLE!!!
Is somebody is forward me here ??!! He he I m a true hero, I played with all JP builds from beginning....with my good old PS2 pad & mouse! The best build for me : 8-20(101) but I'm forced to use the drunk 11-54 (102) for the fucking harp. Don't give up, it's possible!! It's worth the pain, the game is very good, better than the shitty Twilight Pr. (and ZElda is very cute!) 12-01-2011, 10:10 AM
