So far ive been trying to get a perfect sensitivity just for the right stick so that i can raise sword exactly up (for charging it) by holding stick pushed up to its limits so far ive been unable since Links hand tends to go up and the backwards , another issue ive encountered is that if you hold to much the right stick on whatever side it will eventually pull itself to the opposite side very quickly , if i am in C view i have to continously click center the target for this to stop...

been tweaking gyro sensitivity and range but ive only reduced the limit the pointer can get not its sensitivity , by tweaking the range on the pad itself with logitechs software ive only been able to get to a nice sensitivity for Y axis not X axis...

also for some reason doing horizontal blade strikes seems rather difficult sometimes cause it ends up doing diagonal or vertical cuts mostly...

still with this issues its very playable just have to adapt and thank you again JP for this fantastic mod

pd:using ps2 logitech gamepad...

Same thing keeps happening to me, sometimes my controls wont save at all, sometimes my buttons won't work, even if i've assigned them correctly.

All of the config files i've downloaded that are working for others, are not working for me. Have re-installed like 10+ times, so i've kinda given up already.

another thing it does it once i've launched the game and try to go into controls it gets rid of keyboard and only has mouse as an input device

So, I tested the prior built and found out that the d/input devices stay, I guess they were dropped hardcoded because they made some fuzz with IR captioning, but will try out now if I'll be able to produce a vertical slash with this version to free the bird

I also somehow managed to pull the sword out of the stone by spamming buttons....

Hello everyone, I'm having some trouble getting the first sword out.

I'm using a 360 pad, Kaicooper's config, revision 7719, and the 11/28 build.

I've read and tried all of the comments, but I've yet to see something actually specific.

ooh u guys meens Pull the first Sword..lol i though using sword in normal gameplay

i did Pull the first Sword in 2 seconds and its eazy
i remember i pushed A and using Right analog to pull it up up and i think holding RT i think

u'll just solve it after trying 2-3 times

Ya after messing around with it I pulled it by pressing the right bump which is shake while moving the stick around.

This happen to me as well with kaicop's build i figured that the first sequence to take the sword is to do the same shape swing from up to down but with both control sticks the press A and have it pressed after that i added some keys to thrust controls and moved everything at the same time until suddenly i took it out...

yeah sorry if i wasn't so specific but just saying how frantic it was for me as well

Can someone please elaborate on how to actually get the sword out?

can somebody tell me how i fix the by default config in the last build 12/2 of jp..?

is RINPUT...and it is by default..i can change it sometimes erasing the .ini folders but it appears againg when i am playing...please helpppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp

Hey guy peoples! I have problem sorry for bad English.

I play Skyward of Swords and use the builds by Mr. John Peterson.

But I cannot continue to play because I am blinded by how awesome he is.

Please help?

I'm also having this issue. edgex's post seems like a good hint, but I can't make heads or tails of what he's saying. I don't think it's an emulation issue, but moreso that I don't understand what the Wii wants me to do.

So let's cut to the point here. In the final segment of "pulling the sword out of the stone", what motion does the wii want you to do? Hold down A and....

Special thanks to my pal Synps for clarifying:

Set your IR, Thrust, and WDP Wiimote settings to a single button (for me it was L2) and hit Apply. You should have that button being used in at least 19 boxes.

Not hold whatever your A button is (for me it's Square) and hold whatever you consigned all those commands to. The sword pops out after a short delay. Not just save state and restore your controls.

As an aside, what this game needs is macros. Commands, or entire configs, dedicated to a single task like pulling the sword, drawing (haven't done it yet, but heard it's a pain) etc.
