I dont understand how does this work with zelda skyward sword ?
As far as I know game doesnt work with latest revisions properly, best revision to use is r7719 However this file is made for newer revisions...so how can we make it work with zelda ? Can I just paste the file in my 7719 directory ? Or is special version for 7719 needed ??? 11-24-2011, 11:16 PM
Also, anyone have any luck with the spin attack?

Hey jpeterson,
It seems like the most recent version you posted is based on a newer build than r7719, so the graphics don't look as good. Did you mean to change the build it was based on? 11-24-2011, 11:19 PM
The controls of this game are still really diffcult. I'm trying to do it as this guy does:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFt0uhQoOqM Not there yet, tho...
I can't put up the Sword It shows to hold the wiimote upside down then press A+ pull the wiimote upside down UP to get it out.

Excellent comments everyone! foggyspider, great comments, you figured it all out perfectly.
The forum works great, but if you ever feel you want a direct response i'm always in #dolphin-emu@efnet. Please make a list of things you want in the next build. I'm going to test the input with the xbox360 pad now and optimize that. And please post a savestate to problem areas if you can. Did you mean to change the build it was based on?Yes the latest build is from the master branch, the first test build with controls was from the texcache-rewrite branch, if you think that branch or another branch works better i can merge the m+ code into that branch. The downside with the texcache-rewrite branch is that savestates apparently crashes, so we can't share savestates to the locations we are stuck at.
Im stuck at pulling out the Sword heres the savestate its in Pal http://www.mediafire.com/?zodrvdpftvyjalo and the texcache-rewrite dont show background lines with Ram off but with your newer build it always showing them

I dont know anything about branches, but according to zelda ss thread on this forum, game works best with r7719,so would it posible to merge motion+ code into this dolphin revision ? 11-25-2011, 03:31 AM

Madskillz, John, r7719 was the last build that did not include the merged 'scissoring-fixed' branch. That branch fixed some graphical issues with some games, but produces the "scanline" effect in Zelda: Skyward Sword (without copying EFB to RAM), messing it up. Thus, any branch without the 'scissoring-fixed' code will look great with Skyward Sword. The best thing would be that John merge the MotionPlus code into the most updated branch without 'scissoring-fixed' code. That could bring Zelda players the best of both worlds (updated Dolphin code with m+ and good textures). Best Regards, Fideoman // |
