Some functionality is missing, (games are not fully playable with emulated motion plus yet) but it does work well enough to get in-game and do some things until further work is done. There is no need for posts pointing out what does not work, it's already known. good work keep forward...we have only to fix the problem with the select name menu..the cursor does not go down and to the sides.. 11-26-2011, 02:16 PM
A few people have asked if there was a fix or workaround for not being able to move the cursor vertically on the name selection screen and I'm stuck on this as well.
Also I've spent alot of this Friday night trying to figure out exactly what build everyone was using. Someone half mentioned R7719 so I searched for that and found it on qj.net? Is this the standard procedure? Is everyone normally on the same page as to which build is the 'latest'? Because until I started scouring for information related to Zelda I've not seen an official HERE'S THE BEST BUILD CLICK ON MEH kinda thing. That and the Textcache thing... I have no idea what that means and I know a person asked what this means earlier.. Just simple things like a quick explanation would cease alot of these questions. Any help or clarification would be much appreciated. And I wanted to thank John Peterson for his work on the Motion+ and then Starscream for trying to organize it all. The textcache thing, I'm pretty sure, eliminates the vertical lines that appear due to some scissoring effect that the newer builds involve. I've been using that build and the game looks great so far, though for some reason it started stuttering every few seconds after about 30 minutes of gameplay.
Being unable to move the cursor vertically in the name select is because WM+ depends on the gyroscope instead of IR, from what I've gathered, so you have to use the bindings for tilting to move the cursor up and down. 11-26-2011, 02:28 PM

I've been tinkering for like an hour now and getting really frustrated - all of the sudden the IR won't pick up and X-axis movement on my mouse. Please help! 11-26-2011, 02:56 PM
http://i39.tinypic.com/2a5isy1.png is my current setup. Granted, I had to switch the values on range, acc, and gyro to be able to fly at least somewhat successfully for the bird race early on, as well as for landing in the circle with the sail. These values currently reflect my setup for landing with the sail--the values for flying were much lower.
In general, lower values of all three ranges makes it easier to control the WM+, from what I've experienced. 11-26-2011, 03:31 PM
