Hey Guys.

Have seen several posts with people posting 360 configs but has anyone properly configured a PS3 controller to work with ss??

And can it get past the initial motion controller calibration screen?

I've just figured out how to properly use the sword but now there's only one thing left untill the game is perfectly playable for me and that's the controls for the bird.
It'd be great if someone could post some good working controls for the bird flying on keyboard+mouse.

Try using the spin attack while targeting them.... usually works after a few good tries.

Neat trick, with much effort but in the end it worked, thank you very much , hopefully do a good version JP able to create circles with the mouse

When you're trying to use a previously made profile made by another person,

Open up Dolphin

Dont open a tab, just go over to the far right click on Wiimote

make sure your controller is in/on (mines wireless gotta be on) if not click refresh if gamepad doesnt display.

if no profiles showup then make a profile, save it (presave needs to be made to make folder for wiimote)

go to your wii emulator folder, user, config, Profiles, Wiimote

Make sure all the profiles you plan on using are located in that folder.

go back to dolphin, go to wiimote configure as previously stated, pull drop box down, all your profiles should be there if you followed this.

Are you using a controller or a gamepad?

if gamepad, are you making sure your gamepad selection is selected in your wiimote configure and that your motioness stuff is usable?

also did you download the lastest files from page1?

If those also dont work, make sure your controller is plugged in, if still not working go into your "wiimote" configure, unselect motionplus, click apply, reselect motionplus, click apply, see if that fixes it


I know no admin is on atm, but I a novice, will try to help as much as i can when im available, alot of things are quite self explainitory to some people so yeah.

If you're using mouse/keyboard I've no idea..im using a 360 controller as it feels more accurate to a console game.

Ok...so better late than never.

Yeah I've attached my 360 pad config. It works perfectly for me in Zelda.

A (A) - Sprint
X (B) - Open Weapon Bag
Y (1) - Open's Menu
B (2) - Help...I've pressed this at least 10 times...ALL BY ACCIDENT

Left Trigger (Z) - Lock on
Left Bumper © - Look/Dowse

Left Analog - Move around
Left/Right on the Left analog (Roll Left/Right) - To Turn Bird and Beetle left/right.
Click on Left stick - Whilst running makes link roll, Standing does shield bash

Right bumper (Fast) - Hold this to swing sword
Right analog - Aim, swing sword (with right bumper held)
Click on right stick - Stab (with right bumper held), also to escape from anything that 'catches' Link

Left/Right/Up/Down on Right analog plus click on left stick - spin attack

With this config, you can draw 'circles' and fly the bird perfectly without Fast. If you want to fly up, hold down right bumper and press the right stick up (never hold down up). Just kinda flick it up for each wing flap.

Just Remember, to fly the bird/beetle/swimming...up and down on right stick, left and right on left stick.

When skydiving, you can move (slide) left/right with left stick, forward and back with slight up and down movements of the right stick, dive by holding up all the way...and turn left and right with left/right on the right stick..

That is everything I believe.
