Emulated motion controls help

It seems to work right on the settings, but in the games, it doesn't work properly. Are there any bad combinations, like if you had ir, shake, and swing all on at the same time, it wont work right?
Im not really sure whwat IR is. maybe I need to set IR to the stick also, which I haven't done. then try putting swing to the same analog stick.
