GPU is fast enough as long as he keeps AA and pixel lighting off. CPU on the other hand might not be no matter how high it's clocked.

How do you know that the Radeon HD 4770 is fast enough for Red Steel?

By the way Panda, what resolution are you running the game at?

Simple math and remembering where it ranks in benchmarks. For dolphin a 4770 would be almost as fast as a 4850, making it faster than a GTS250/9800GTX/8800GTS but slower than a GTX260/460. That means it will struggle with 3x efb + 4xSSAA. But 3x efb without AA and 2x efb with 4xSSAA should both be fine. Regardless of resolution he'll be fine as long as he leaves SSAA and pixel lighting off (too few pixel shader and stenciling calculations to possible bottleneck the cpu).

Nevermind, the OP stated that, haha. Well, look at his GPU and CPU, and you'll see why.

I saw a guy running Red Steel 2 very well. But the system was an i7. Great difference. Tongue

1440x900
NO AA
AF 2x
EFB Scale Integral

I think that the problem is with the CPU. I guess that with the settings I use, the GPU can handle well.
There are a huge difference between the Core 2 architeture and the i5/i7.
