First the preliminaries:
- Using Dolphin r7719 (also tried 3.0-689 but avoid it due to rendering artifacts)
I am trying to capture the intro from Zelda: Wind Waker, but the resulting dumped video and audio don't match up. After checking the rendered ingame fps using FRAPS I notice that the game changes fps ingame, which throws off the entire dump since the end result video expects a fixed fps and not a dynamic one. During the intro logos Dolphin renders at 50fps, then changes to 30fps during the rendered intro.
How am I supposed to capture this so it works? I can't add the resulting video and audio into a renderer or editor since the sync is thrown off directly after the logos. I've noticed many GC games tosses around the FPS between scenes which makes proper capturing impossible.
Edit: I've tried various other games too, and all of them gives me grave desync errors. Even when the game FPS never changes the audio still doesn't sync properly. I don't use any frame limiting of any kind. As it looks now the audio/video dump function is completely useless if you can't sync video and audio properly. Individually they work great, but together they don't work at all.
