I'm looking to obtain wads for majora's mask and ocarina of time. Everything I've read involves using showmiiwads which only runs on Windows. Is there a way to dump games on Linux? They're installed on my SD card although from everything I've read I'll have to copy them back to my wii and do a NAND dump which isn't that big of a deal but if I can get them off the card without doing that I'd be happy with that too.

Apparently you can compile ShowMiiWads with Mono -> https://gbatemp.net/threads/an-alternative-to-showmiinand-for-linux.206932/

Alternatively, you could try it under the latest version of WINE. People report it crashing when installing WADs, but nothing bad about extracting them. It's worth a shot.

Alright thanks for the info. I was maybe hoping to get something native but I guess not so we'll see if I can make this work haha.

Well with a bit of googling and lots of time I found native Linux software to do everything except pack wads. I've extracted my .app files from my nand image and extracted the u8 archive and got the ocarina of time rom running on my n64 emulator. I haven't had any luck with majora's mask even after decompressing the romc file. I want to try to pack a wad and run it in dolphin but I have yet to find a utility to do that.
