Found this on [urlhttp://www.evga.com/articles/00633/]frontpage[/url] of Newegg and I'm afraid I can't resist the power of Duke's fully loaded package.

I wonder what they mean by full version of the game here?
Some kind of exclusive version that not needs the shitty Steam perhaps? Steam gives you bad self esteem and makes you wanna scream, now I'm in the mood for ice cream or is it all just a dream... Oh OK so that was it was. Although I haven't had any CPU related problems with Steam, it's everything else about it. It's like do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars. When I bought Fallout New Vegas last year I couldn't even install it at first just because I pre-ordered it and got it a little earlier spawning a message that I couldn't install it because it wasn't released yet, still I had the physical disc in my hand. A fail in my book. Then it's the Steam Servers is down messages, not being able to go the offline mode properly sometimes. Sure when it works it works and that is good I suppose and the DLC for New Vegas have been easy to buy. But I'm not fond of this Steam thing at all. When you buy a game on a physical disc, let me just install it and be done with it. Why even sell games on discs if you can't even install it if you get it early and have to install apps like Steam with numerous updates over and over. It takes so long in able to start playing. Luckily it's just New Vegas and Duke Nukem that I have that uses Steam, the others is just installing and activating and done. I'll guess I just have to live with the fact that everything's digital today and a physical disc in the future may not exist. Sad since I like to collect games, oh well what can you do... 09-07-2011, 03:24 AM
agreed steam can be irritating at times; but thats why no steam cracks exist
also, my DNF installed just fine and i had it a few hours before release 09-08-2011, 12:35 PM
I also was playing it before release. I played about the first 2 hours or so and was initially very underwhelmed. As I played on it got worse and worse. I hate to sound cliche (since everyone an their mothers has reviewed this game) but this one definitely didn't even come close to living up to the hype.

Ha ha well it might not be the best of games released but it sure have some entertainment value to it and you can easily kill a couple of hours with it. Graphics wise it's good for a Duke Nukem game and I love the cliche comments Duke is spawning. |
