Well just completed the game now and I feel proud.
Started playing it for real on Sunday night and it wasn't really much of a challenge, just blazing through. Hopefully there will be more "useful extras" unlocked on the harder difficulties. But the game was just as I expected it to be, totally awesome. "You've got a lot of guts. Let's see what they look like" 06-14-2011, 09:22 PM

Well, have been playing this everyday now and have soon mastered it on all difficulties.
I really don't get why it got so bad reviews, it's Duke Nukem! How can it not be brilliant? After looking at the screenshot section that get's unlocked after completing the game I saw a screenshot from Duke Nukem 3D that had updated graphics as DNF and I thought to myself, PLEASE remake that game to the DNF standards, I'll buy it instantly. 06-19-2011, 05:36 AM
I watched some footage and looked at least decent

I was a huge fan of DN3D and still have a copy which I find myself playing from time to time (at least for a few minutes). Just recently heard about DNF and was curious about the reviews because I want to order a copy of it. I'm kinda dissapointed because there are really bad reviews and scores for this game. How true is this from a DN3D fan perspective?

Sheesh, everybody was expecting DNF to be the second coming of christ. The "Developement" cycle was +12 years. And I bet you that they spent their money on promiscuous women instead of working on the game. I don't doubt that the most recent dev put in a years worth of time on the game. But hey, it's actually a decent game. It's just that everyone got their hopes up about three times more than Fable 2.
