I don't think that he intended to offend or to embarrass you in some way.
I understand why he was kind of insistent about the texture format. I faced the same decision some months ago and also tended to PNG in the first place. But if you try DDS (BC7) once you will not want to miss it any longer. When I tested my own texture pack as PNG, Dolphin needed a lot of time to load the textures and was lagging as hell. The game was unplayble on my device. After converting to DDS everything loaded fast and the game ran smooth. And I couldn't see any visual differences to PNG.
Give it a shot, you won't regret it.
Kupo even though i was quite upset with Admentus, i have had some time to calm done and rethink my approach to things, regarding the .dds I’ve listened to what you have to say and id like to say to you that you were very respectful and a true Gentleman/Lady depending, the way you presented yourself, you analysed both sides and spoke your mind elegantly. Amazing! i truly respect that you were to the point and didn't point out my flaws. You were also very convincing and You didn’t provoke me.
Honestly thats all I want from people, and the whole reason I got so upset with Admentus Was how determined I felt he was to put me in my place. And the thing is I don’t have places Im not a king or a queen or a god im just someguy. Growing crops in field. And I like my field its very green.
When someone provokes or angers me, I’ve noticed people regardless their perspective
whoever wins an argument, the other guy/gal will Then disappear then return in a larger number they will rally other people to their side. Then the discussion turns to conflict because of a disagreement between two individuals, you have a siege. From my perspective Each time someone points out my flaws whether it be my grammar, punctuation, point of view or approach. My instinct tells me that im under attack and I quickly retaliate to protect myself. Kupo you just walked through the middle of my minefield and said.
“hey bro its safe, your safe, come out there is another way!”
And I just put down my bayonet and walked out the front door and said Thankyou!
if you had chosen not to console me, the siege would have continued! and i believe this is how it would have ended for me!
