What are the settings that you use to get the game playable on rev 4620? The same settings on page 2? Or are the settings different?
Also @ Concerto, when you say "yea, now with ogl works without hacks and with hle sound.", do you mean that you don't need to switch between the Bleach hack anymore? Because the game is still unplayable without the Bleach hack on rev 4620. 11-29-2009, 08:22 PM
Sorry for the double post, but I was able to find a way to have it so that the background in the game and the text work at the same time, without the use of hacks. I'm not sure if this has already been posted but...
1. Use OpenGL 2. Go to graphic settings 3. Go to the "Advanced" tab 4. Click the check box for "Disable Material Lighting" 5. Under the "Hacks" drop-down box, click none Along with "Real XFB" being enabled, that should do it. I'm also using rev 4628. I included some ingame screenshots. 11-29-2009, 08:38 PM
nekroturkey your explanation is better than mine. I cant remember doing anything with the "Disable Material Lighting" though. what does that do?. also wanted to ask do you get screeching sound on stages with HLE? maybe i need to upgrade to 4628. and yeah there is no need for the projection hacks anymore.

I'm not exactly sure what it does, but the video quality of the game doesn't degrade at all. The game looks the same with it off as it did with it on (from what I noticed anyway). The audio was also fine, during Adventure mode at least. I had some screeching/audio problems with the 4620 build, but when I switched to 4628, the audio problems seem to have went away. I'm not sure how well this tweak works later on in the game though, because unfortunately I got a deysnc'd wiimote error, and the game crashed before I was able to complete stage 1-1. 11-29-2009, 11:30 PM
