Dophin keeps crashing when loading a state..

Hello everybody and thank you for your help!

I am playing Paper mario RPG on Dolphin 3.5 x64 and it's doing great! despite this, I had a problem in my computer and couldn't save on the memory card, so I started saving on states. It saves perfectly but suddenly I saved and Dolphin keeps crashing when trying to load this state.

FIRST question: Is there any way to fix this problem? I already started all over once because of the same problem in the same level

SECOND question: I tried to download the newest version of Dophin, and it opens the ISO game but it either crashes when trying to load or says:" Internal LZO Error- decompression failed (-8) (0, 130885) Try loading the state again."

I'll be very glad if you help me,

Savestates aren't always reliable, i'm afraid it's gone forever

Use 4.0 or the latest revisions of Dolphin. Save states will be greatly more reliable now than they were then. Also, anything older than 4.0 is not supported on the forums (and you really should upgrade to the latest dev builds for the speed boosts too...)

Your 3.5 save states are corrupt; there's probably no way you can reasonably fix them. You'll have to start from scratch when switching to 4.0+ (3.5 save states are incompatible with 4.0 anyway) unless you have in-game saves available.

Thank you very much for the idea with moving the in-game saves available to the new Dolphin!!!
it worked! and now I need to start from the middle instead of the begning

what is "dev builds for the speed boosts"? i'm new in all of this...

Dev builds = developmental builds = builds newer than 4.0.2
