Donkey Konga Audio latency

Hi there
My audio is several noticeable milliseconds behind everything else in all bongo games, Donkey Konga 1 and 2 and Jungle Beat.
They are all unplayable.

I have done all of the following:

Tried different dumps of the games

Tried using different audio outputs from my PC incurring a dedicated soundcard, through the TV via HDMI, through an AV amp from a secondary HDMI out from the gfx card

Tried all the video backends

Tried fiddling with the audio settings in dolphin and windows

Turned all graphics down to native to free up as much per as possible

Tried updating to the latest version of dolphin

Tried playing without the sound and only using visual cues, everything is bang on, there is no latency from the bongos. If I turn to the sound back on then you can see it's out but a noticeable amount therefore making it unplayable.

Please help!

Nat.

There's a hidden setting called audio variance that can lower audio latency at the cost of performance. It's probably hidden in the dolphin config files.
