well in some cases it actually works so i wouldnt call it useless..... since he wants speed in dk returns less fps in exchange for more speed

As far as I know (and the develpers have said) it doesn't boost improve gamespeed at all unless your GPU is really bad. He has a cpu bottleneck so it won't help him at all.

Idle skipping is as close as you're ever going to get. Any other op other than nop cannot be skipped without potentially breaking proper emulation.
