Bug
Hi!

i'am trying to get DK Country Returns working with a 3rd party controller (Snakebyte):

Its connected, the game starts... after the Intro page (press 2 to continue... bla bla) it only takes 3-5 sec. till the "controller connection interrupted" window pops up...
but the wiimote menu still says the wiimote is connected...

so i tried to set the first controller to keyboard (emulated wiimote) everything works just fine.... if i turn it back to real wiimote (no problem, because it is still connected..)... 3-5 sec.... same thing...

isn't there any litte hack?! every other game worked just fine ... till this...
can anybody please help me to fix this??
pleeeaaaaseeee!

Third-party remotes aren't well-supported, but someone found a tweak that fixes some remotes. Go try it. http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-possible-solution-for-3rd-party-wiimote-disconnections

thx! i found that too, but sadly its not working for my problem...Undecided

isnt there a way to ship arround the controller checking thing? dolphin should just pretend its there, dont check... you know what i mean? like it would be keyboard, but in real is wiimote could not that be a possibility to get all the 3rd party things be working?

i hoped it's allready implemented, just something like a argument to add to the start options
something like "TheHellNotChckMy3rdPartyContrll=1" Big Grin

someone? somewhere?

I have the same problem. When I launch DK country returns with 2 original wiimotes RVL-CNT-01 paired with dolphin, the conection with controller 2 is interrupted a couple of seconds after the game asks to press button 2.

Saddly, no ones seems to be able to respond to this issue...
