It doesn't have everything DolphinFX has, but it has things DolphinFX does not have. I use both. I shared my config and settings, with screenshots, in the Xenoblade texture thread. I have two that show my settings with and without DolphinFX included alongside IshiirukaFX (it's a subtle visual difference, but makes a big difference to me (I'm very particular about what I consider "improving" visuals, I try to maintain the intent of the original appearance of the game by only changing the behavior of light in the game engine). If people would like both the official builds, and Ishiiruka builds supported in future updates. Please provide a link or such, to info on what post-processing framework functionality the Ishiiruka version has that the official builds do not. And maybe any pre-processor macros or such I can use to differentiate them in code. (05-16-2015, 02:24 PM)pauldacheez Wrote: Asmodean: I don't know if you're aware of this or if he's contacted you at all, but gonetz is raising $2000 for the sole reason that he feels like spending the time to port your shaders to his fancy new N64 video plugin. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gliden64-fx (just spotted this post) I'm late to the party here, but lol wtf. First I've heard of it. Did people fall for this scam?. Unless I'm misunderstanding the goal he had. Was it for implementing an actual PP framework....or literally just porting my stuff to that plugin.. because that would take like 20 mins. (02-03-2016, 12:34 AM)Asmodean Wrote: Maybe.. Nice to see you back that campaign was for implementing shader system than could support DolphinFX but it failed. I'll send you a link. 02-03-2016, 03:11 AM
Ishiiruka post processing system is now 100% compatible with the new frmawork that is going to be commited to master in a few days, so any shaders compatible with master will be compatible with ishiiruka. You can see at ported version of dolphinfx inside ishiiruka repository.

I can do some pretty wild post-processing with the amount of functional updates the framework has received. I'll be sure to familiarize myself with the new functionality, and use those as a reference, when I do updates. (02-03-2016, 01:41 AM)Ramoth Wrote: I'll send you a link. I got your pm. I'll look into your suggestions when I'm doing work on this. I'll keep you posted, but I've no ETA as of right now, as I'm busy IRL currently. |
