Sadly the dolphin bars are known for having LEDs not working.

As far as I investigated, Mayflash is using resistors of incorrect value in the clusters of IR LEDs, making them work with a slight higher voltage. After some time, one of the IR LEDs will burn and that'll make the others not light up too because they're connected in series. It's very simple to replace the resistor, but since your IR LEDs are burnt you'll need to replace them too...

Have we updated the official review to reflect this? I feel that it's a bad idea to have such a strong recommendation tied to a known faulty product if we don't want to look like we took a big bribe.

But is that problem widespread? Because as far as I remember, only two forum users complained about that (I also got this issue but fixed it myself by replacing the burnt LED and changing to a proper resistor)...
