DolphinBar + Wiimote does not work

Hi,

i baught the Mayflash DolphinBar and a Wiimote and configured it. But something is wrong.

Wiimote works fine in Keyboard Mouse mode. But not in games as real Wiimote.

Dolphinbar is running in mode4 ofc, Wiimote is connected to dolphin and shown in Wii Home menu, but does not work. Also the batteries are shown as empty, but they are full (attached image).
Nothing happens, its the same in every game. Even the starting screen (wich tells you, not to beat people and things around you with wiimote) doesnt disappear when i hit A.

When i switch back to mode 1 or 2, its running great again, also in dolphin (but wiimote emulating a controller/keyboard is senseless for dolphin).

Maybe the Wiimote isnt compatible? Just figured out there are even any differences when searching in forum.

Maybe its "Gm0009"?... thats the only thing i can see in the small manual.

Hardware:
AMD Phenom II 965
AMD Radeon HD 7600
8GB Ram
So the pc shouldnt be the problem i think.

That's a 3rd-party knockoff controller, which often will not work in Dolphin. You will need to get a real Nintendo Wiimote.

That, or try Dolphin on Linux (which has better Wiimote support). I have a similar "Motion 2 in 1" red Wiimote, though I'm not sure if it's actually the same.
(note: you can't use your DolphinBar with Linux currently (yet), so you will need a Bluetooth dongle.)

Ok i will get a supported Wiimote then.

But how to choose that a good Wiimote? Does every Wiimote by Nintendo work? Or are there any special that i should look for?
I need Motion+ and Nunchuck. Are there supported 2in1 ones, or do i need external Motion+?

Edit: Its offtopic, but how is the peformance on Linux? Better then windows? Or almost the same?

Switching to Linux probably won't change anything. The better "Wiimote Support" is only about the pairing. But as you use a DolphinBar, that is done by its hardware an your OS doesn't affect that at all.
I think my GF has the same knockoff and that one isn't working particular good at all with the actual Wii (takes very long and multiple attempts to sync with the Wii).
Can you make sure that you configured the Wiimote as "Real Wiimote" and not as "Hybrid" or "Emulated". Also when you connect it and Dolphin picks it up (without a game running), does it rumble and light the first LED?

When looking for an original Nintendo Wiimote you can pick any.

I guess it depends on the third-party Wiimote. If it's the same as mine, then it doesn't work under Windows, but with Linux it does, both by connecting directly with L2CAP and with the DolphinBar (so going through HID). I have no idea why, but it would be neat if those worked with Windows too.

Yes it is configured as real Wiimote, its rumbling when i connect it to Dolphin and the sync led at dolphin bar is lightning. Also the Wiimote is visible in Wii menu; screenshot in my first post - batteries are shown as empty, but they are full.
So everything seems fine, the "only" thing is, that the Wii doesnt respond.

Yes thats it. Mode 1 and 2 are working great (didnt try mode 3, but it should work too i think). Could use the Wiimote, to emulate keyboard/mouse and play with it.
Mode 4 is the only lacking one.

Close Dolphin, connect your Wiimote to DolphinBar and set it to Mode 4. Then run that program, press some buttons on your Wiimote. After that press "Enter" in the CMD Window so it prints "Existing!" and send me the log (copy pase the CMD content, as it does not write to a log file; either per PM or pastebin). After that another "Enter" will close the CMD.

It searches for all connected Wiimotes, prints a lot of stuff about each connected HID, sets two LEDs on all found Wiimotes and then prints everything send from the Wiimotes. It is basically the stripped down implementation Dolphin uses. So if that program can receives input from your Wiimote it means there is an issue with Dolphin, if not then there is either an issue with the knockoff Wiimote or the HID Stack.
