So since the Dolphinbar doesn't support Bluetooth passthrough, would it be possible to have a Dolphinbar + seperate Bluetooth adapter where you can connect via the bluetooth adapter and then use Dolphinbar just for IR.

In addition, to the non TR wii remotes work via bluetooth passthrough including the audio on the wii remotes? Both the non-TR ones with motion plus and without.

That depends on the model and firmware of your DolphinBar. Some of them only turn on the IR LEDs when at least one Wii Remote is connected.

Oh. I don't have one yet. If I were to buy one right now, would the newest DolphinBar hardware not require at least one Wii Remote?

I've heard that the newest model will work as a sensor bar even if no Wii Remotes are connected, but I can't confirm it, and I can't guarantee that you'll get the newest model if you buy a DolphinBar.

If you are looking for something to use as a sensor bar only (that is, you won't be using it for Bluetooth), a DolphinBar might not be the best choice. There are other third-party sensor bars (either USB-powered or battery-powered) that don't have Bluetooth components that you probably can get for less money.

Any suggestions?

My plan is to now get an original Wii Bluetooth module and solder USB connectivity and a separate sensor bar. Probably the best solution.

The question is. Which ones are good though? I heard there are some really bad ones out there. Any suggestions?

Unless they use original Bluetooth module it will probably just be "good enough". Best will probably be orig module and a good USB sensor bar.

If u have a Dolphin Bar you know how good it is compared to any other solution, like bt pens and overcomplicated Wii bt modules. A Dolphin Bar with Bluetooth Passtrough capabilities is just the perfect solution Dolphin emulation is waiting for. Its  a shame tho, they dont update they firmware on the existing ones to make them compatibles with bluetooth passtrough.
