Hi i have just bought a dolphinbar but cannot get it to work in dolphin. In windows i can use mode 1 to move the mouse pointer but when i put it in mode 4 and try it in dolphin i have problems. It says a supported bluetooth device could not be found. You must manually connect your wiimotes. I have continous scanning selected and have real wiimote selected so when i press refresh and hold button 1 and 2 on the wiimote it rumbles but when i start a game the buttons on the wiimote do not work please help.

When I was having issues with my DolBar I had to sync the DolBar to the wiimote a few times before it stuck. Meaning I had to hit sync on DolBar and then hit the red sync button on the wiimote. Syncing by hitting the 1 + 2 buttons did not work for me. I had to treat it like it was a real wiimote. I also had to update the firmware of the DolBar. Have you synced the wiimote to the DolBar under mode 4 and have you updated the DolBar firmware? I would suggest doing those two things with Dolphin not running then double checking to make sure the controller shows up in the control panel under the mode 4. Other than that I am out of suggestions. 02-08-2015, 04:55 AM

Hmm, don't know man, all I can go on is my experience with it. For me, I put the DolBar on mode 4, opened the control panel so I could see the controllers, then I held the sync button on dolphin bar waiting for windows to find it. It changed icons and it went from saying HID device controller to game controller, and then it worked. My only other guess is the driver is confused between the DolBar and windows, due to the modes on the DolBar. YOu might want to start fresh by uninstall the controller for dolphin bar and then reinstall. Be sure you know what you are doing before you try that. But basically in the control panel, I right clicked the dolphin bar controller and removed/deleted it. I then made sure the DolBar was on mode 4, I held down the DolBar sync button and then I restarted my machine and held down the sync button for what felt like 5 mins, but I waited for windows to show me the icon in the bottom right corner of the tray that it was trying to load the drivers. While I was waiting I opened the control panel while still holding down the sync button, I went to controllers and waited to see the game controller pop up. Once it did, it was just fine. Mayflash instructions say you need to hold down the sync button before you plug in the controller and keep held down till windows drivers are installed. http://www.mayflash.com/products/nintend.../w010.html Good luck! Thats all I got on this one. 02-08-2015, 06:08 AM

Do you have Dolphin set to use a real Wiimote and in the config screen can see button presses?
Have you tried changing USB ports? |
