Dolphinbar not working with emulator

I am having problems getting the Dolphinbar to work in Dolphin. Dolphinbar syncs with my official wiimote (with motion plus inside) but the controller is not found in Dolphin. I have tried setting it up in 4.0-5378, 4.0-4473, and 4.0-3575 to no avail. However, upon connecting Dolphinbar to Windows 7 via usb Windows shows an error message saying that the "Mayflash Wiimote PC Adapter" driver was not successfully installed. I have tried every usb port on the computer and all of them have this same error and Dolphin does not recognize the wiimote. Is this a driver issue or an issue with Dolphin? I have been unable to find a driver online anywhere, just the firmware update.

P.S.
I have tried the v3 firmware update but it said that it was already up to date. I have also tried using alt+f5 after loading a game but that does not work.

I have no idea what to do, any ideas?

EDIT:
I have just tested it again but in a VMware virtual machine running Windows 8.1. Upon opening Dolphin this time and setting up the wiimote it vibrated and I believe that means it connected? Since it is a VM I cant actually run a game to test for sure. I also did not get that driver error on the VM. So that must mean the issue is actually a driver one but I am still unsure how to go about fixing it.

EDIT 2:
I solved the problem, see my post below.

Hello, made an account just so I could talk to you.

I've run into the same issue with my own dolphin bar/ wiimote. Do you have the original driver disk handy, by any chance? More to the chase; would you be willing to upload the contents to a file sharing site? I've managed to lose my original disk and I fear that might be the reason why the wiimote isn't being registered by the emulator. It seems to work just fine in 'mouse-mode' though, which is confusing.

Perhaps we can help eachother.

I finally figured out what was wrong. There was something messed up with my usb drivers, even other new usb devices would not work only the ones that had been working. To solve the issue I ended up having to use the guide at this link: http://www.sevenforums.com/hardware-devices/86442-unable-install-any-usb-devices.html

Now the wiimote connects fine when I start a game. For me the driver on the disc did nothing and it is working now without it. But I went ahead and uploaded it for you in case it can help you out: https://mega.co.nz/#!nkdBUJBb!9jfQogTfSTOafobTvzjvMpk0te_cG_dyC6QYVqA3wzY
