Dolphinbar not working, at wits end

I just got a DolphinBar and am having some trouble getting it functioning in Dolphin. I set it up, updated the DolphinBar firmware to the latest version 0x03, then successfully synced a Wiimote to the Dolphinbar. It works fine in mode 1 and controls windows, and the mode 4 light is lit up and the Sync button is solid blue. The Wiimote itself has a solid blue light in its first box. However, when I enter Dolphin itself (latest dev version, version 5254), I go to controllers, select "real WiiMote", and click refresh under the real wiimote area, however I get the error "A supported bluetooth device could not be found. You must manually connect your Wiimotes." I tried checking and unchecking continuous scanning. Wiimote motor is checked, and I unchecked speaker data. I've restarted twice with no success, and have tried connecting the Dolphinbar to a powered USB hub and directly to my desktop with no change. Because the wiimote can control windows in mode 1 I assume it is not defective. Also, when I click refresh the Wiimote does vibrate as well most of the time, meaning that Dolphin is having some interaction with it anyway. It just still says that it can't find a supported bluetooth device

What else can I do to get this running? I've read through many threads and done plenty of googling so far with little success. Any help would be appreciated

UPDATE: So it still says supported bluetooth device could not be found, but it seems to work anyway actually in-game. However, while playing Skyward Sword I am pretty often getting an error that communication has been lost and have to press alt f5 to reconnect the controller. This seems to occur ever few minutes while I'm playing. I have already turned the sound volume to zero in controllers and unchecked speaker data. Is there anything else I can do?

The "No Bluetooth Device Found" error is always there with a Dolphin bar. Dolphin doesn't use it in the same way as a "normal" Bluetooth adapter. Don't know about the disconnection error, but have you checked any other games? Or is it just in Skyward Sword that it disconnects?

So far just with Skyward Sword. I've been having issues with Dolphin recognizing the Wiimote as well. Sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it does not. It works fine in mode 1 though so I'm not sure what the issue is. Is there a method for reliably having the Wiimote work in dolphin?

I've never had any issues connecting to the Dolphin Bar. I do often get hangs when I use the "refresh" button in the Wiimote properties window though, so I'm not sure that's indicative of anything.

Do you have authentic Nintendo Wiimotes, or 3rd party ones? 3rd party ones are not supported by the Dolphin Bar I believe.
Did you sync them to the Dolphin Bar with the red button on the back (permanent), or by holding down 1+2 on the wiimote (temporary)?

Just a quick question for you. Are the motion plus features of your WiiMote working properly with Skyward Sword? I can't seem to get mine to work properly - it stays connected but everything to do with the motion plus is, well... laggy and delayed which basically makes it impossible to play.
