DolphinBar Issues Galore

Hi,

So I recently purchased a DolphinBar from Mayflash on Amazon. Figured everything out the day I installed it and had everything working fine for 2 days or so. Today, I decided to try and update the firmware. I was able to initiate the Update process, but it kept failing every time I tried to update it, telling me it was the wrong product, wrong firmware, etc. Okay, sure. Maybe the latest firmware already comes installed. Today, after about 6 hours of playing Twilight Princess without hiccup, I start hearing the USB plug-in and unplug sounds over and over and over and over and over again every 30 seconds or so. Check device manager, and it says "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed). Now I'm not sure if it showed up this way the entire time I've had it installed or not, but I found that odd.

So I uninstalled the drivers from the device manager, turned it off, and unplugged it. To my surprise, every 30 seconds or so now, my computer bleaps out the USB connectivity sound fx and tells me that the device I recently plugged in has malfunctioned. It's unplugged. Off. Uninstalled. No matter how often I restart, plug it back in, uninstall it, disable it, I am unable to even function on this PC without a device that isn't even plugged in malfunctioning somehow.

Anyone else run into this kind of issue? And funny thing is, it still works fine in Dolphin!? Turn my Wiimote on, and it buzzes and I'm good to go.

Really regretting buying this if these issues continue. It's so incessantly annoying and intrusive that it is making me question whether or not to just reformat and forget about playing Wii games altogether.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Smile

Yeah, I switched it a few times and it still seems to come up like that. Updated the USB drivers as well.
