I have an old, but genuine Wii MotionPlus controller and a Mayflash Dolphinbar. I've successfully used this many times before, however I haven't played with my Wiimotes for a while. Recently, I decided to play some games again but now Dolphin doesn't seem to recognize my Wiimotes whatsoever. I can still connect to Dolphinbar just fine, and even move the mouse cursor around in Mode 1, but when set in Mode 4, Dolphin doesn't recognize it whatsoever now. Is there any setup that needed to be redone since I haven't used it for a while and many updates have happened since then? I tried using both normal scan with Refresh and Continuous Scan, but neither worked. The remote is still connected just fine to Dolphinbar, so I don't know what's going on.
Any help?
EDIT: After fiddling around more, it seems like Dolphin may actually be recognizing the controller as I do see messages for Wiimote disconnected and Wiimote connected on occasion when turning the Dolphinbar on and off in-game, however none of the buttons seem to work. However, using the Wiimote as a mouse in Mode 1 does work even with the buttons, so it doesn't seem to be anything physically wrong with the controller.
EDIT 2: Definitely seems to be some odd software issue, as I was able to get the buttons to work manually adding them to an Emulated Wiimote through the "Connect Wii Remotes for Emulated Controllers" option. Of course, the manually added motion controls don't work very well and I can't use the pointer efficiently and the nunchuck is constantly thought to be shaking. But it does show there's no problems with the Dolphinbar or Wiimote.
