Dolphinbar extremely short range

So I got the Dolphinbar today .So I was quite excited ,just to realize that the range was just about 5 cm /2 inches .I'm totally lost at that point .Pls help

Bluetooth Range must be at least 10m, even on the worst USB BT dongle
