When I found this emulator and started messing with it, I got a DolphinBar.
Then I found about the advantages of passthough, but the DolphinBar wasn't compatible due to the detail that it required a controller to be connected for the LEDs to turn on.
I contacted Mayflash, and after a few suggestion exchanges, they sent me a new firmware version (on August 29th). I thought that they were gonna update their firmware download page with the new version, but they didn't yet, so I thought about sharing it here.
With this version, you can turn on the LEDs even if no remote is connected to the DolphinBar (keep using this bar for IR if you decide to get another bluetooth module for passthrough).
(it's been several years since I last used a forum, I don't know if the format codes still work like they used to, and it seems that I won't be able to edit this post, so I'm sorry if the formatting doesn't look nice/clean)
Anyway, here's the e-mail that Mayflash sent me:
Mode 1 and 4 LEDs will light up simultaneouly while the extra mode (LEDs always on) is active.
WARNING:
For as long as Mayflash doesn't add it to their download page, treat it as a beta build.
Use it at your own risk if you really want to try it, and don't blame me or Mayflash if anything goes wrong.
