Hello. Ever since I reinstalled Dolphin a couple of days ago, I've been experiencing an issue with the x64 bit version of it. Whenever I open a game, there's just a black screen and it slows down everything on my pc. It can take a couple of mins to open task mgr when this is happening. This has only happened now and has not happened before. I recall running Super Mario Galaxy 2 fine with 60 fps with a x64 version of Dolphin. Of course, I've been searching for awhile and have been reading other topics similiar to this and haven't had any luck. Not to mention that this is with ALL versions of Dolphin like 3.0 and so forth. I'm using my rip of my Mario Kart Wii. I uninstalled and reinstalled all C++ redistributables and still nothing along with reinstalling DirectX. However, if I use a x86 version of Dolphin everything works fine. So it can't be my rip of the game. Also, I have not downloaded any DLLs of any sort off of the internet that could mess up my system. I've done some virus scans and there weren't any issues. If anybody else has experienced this issue or could offer some help, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks Smile

4.0 is not supported. Get 4.0.2 at least to get support.

you reinstalled DirectX? I assume you mean updated. DirectX cannot be uninstalled/reinstalled to my knowledge. If only the 64 bit versions are problematic, you did remember to install/update the 64 bit C++ redistributables and not just the 32 bit right?
i5-8600K @ 4.5 GHz
GeForce GTX 1080 SC2
ASRock Z370 Taichi LGA 1151
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB 2400 DDR4
SAMSUNG 970 EVO M.2 500GB PCIe SSD
Indigo Xtreme TIM
Phanteks Pro ES614P Black Steel Case
EVGA SuperNOVA 750W PSU
Windows 10 64-bit
