Dolphin Won't Save SSBB File

The game tells me that the save file has been created, but when I try to save, it says there's no save file. Please help before I throw this computer out a window! Thanks!

EDIT:

I have an Intel Pentium Dual Core Processor with 4GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS. As for settings, I have them on default for this build with the exception of the control settings.

do you have dolphin in "program files"? if so move dolphin to a folder that you have write permissions or run dolphin as admin
