I haven't tried using a PS3 controller in Dolphin in quite a while (mostly because I prefer using a Classic Controller or Wii U Pro Controller with WJoy), but I've seen numerous people on OS X unable to use gamepads in Dolphin for some reason recently. I have a free weekend and a mild amount of motivation, so I'll try testing my handful of gamepads and see if I can use 'em.
