So after using the auto updater today, I get an error message and it won't launch.

"Dolphin.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point __std_tzdb_delete_time_zones
could not be located in the dynamic link library
C:\Users\mrhey\Downloads\Dolphin-x64\Dolphin.exe"

Any ideas?

We've seen this problem pop up for a few users recently, but personally I can't reproduce it. Could you help us out by trying out the different recently released development builds and seeing which one of them is the first one that has this issue?

I have the same issue and after some testing I've found it comes from version 5.0-17105-x64. Hope this helps.

Hi,

I just registered here to reply.

I had to download a few dolphins, but I can safely say that, at least for me, the last working version without the error is "5.0-17096 (x64)".

Everything afterwards brings up the error message. So the issue started with version "5.0-17107 (x64)" which says that it made timer improvements.

That is all I wanted to post, hope this helps. Smile

In my case it launches but no game loads. I've reported it here. It's a different thread but maybe those are related issues?

I just updated my version of Visual C++ Redistributable and it fixed it.

It can be fixed by updating the VC REDIST to the last version.

I can also confirm that updating the VC REDIST install seems to fix the issue. Still wonder why it suddenly stopped working though.

I'd guess probably new C++20 features?

Well atleast there is a simple fix.

Updating the MSVC from the above link didn't fix the crash in my case, so I filed a bug report in the new issue tracker. If anyone is interested, it is here: https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/13007
