Saying you're using Dolphin 4.0 is ambiguous since it could mean you're using 4.0, which is even older than 4.0.2. To avoid this, just precise that you are using the latest development or master builds.

Since it says 4.0 x86, it can't be a recent development build. It probably means exactly what it says - version 4.0.

Yes. Upgrade your system. All modern CPUs and operating systems support x64. If yours does not, there is a good chance it is very old so… it will probably not run Dolphin well.

And no, you didn't use "all versions", since you cannot use the latest development builds with the latest improvements and fixes.

As I recall, Microsoft lets you upgrade to an x64 version of your OS for free, but if I'm wrong, you could always upgrade to Windows 10 (I wouldn't, though).

Same key can be used for 32 or 64-bit.

1. Things change. And this is true especially for Dolphin, where latest versions are much better than old, outdated ones.
2. You don't need 4GB for a 64 bits system… while 4GB is recommended, 2GB should be enough if you don't use a lot of programs at the same time. And if we're talking about only using Dolphin, that is more than enough.
3. Old builds are not supported anymore. If you cannot upgrade, there's nothing we can do.

Also, looking at your profile, you have 3GB of RAM, which is *enough* to run a 64 bits system comfortably. But you may want to upgrade your hardware, which is quite weak…

Well, I upgraded and installed the newest version, and everything works like a charm. Thank you!
