I googled my problem first, and I have seen a few posts scattered across the internet dating back to 2015 where others have had the same issue but here is my problem. Once I put dolphin into fullscreen, I cannot exit from dolphin, or minimize it, or toggle fullscreen, or bring another window into focus, and I have to use Cntrl+Alt+Delete, and kill the task in order to leave dolphin. Is there a way to fix this problem or is it a known issue that has been around for a while? Thanks

If you are using exclusive full screen the box asking you if you really want to stop emulation won't be visible. Just hit the space bar immediately after hitting esc and it will stop emulation and close the window. This has been a long term issue, but it's not a big deal once you realize what is going on.

I have the same than @jachin99
I have uninstalled the latest version and went back all the way to 5.0 and even 4.0 and I still have the same issue. When switching the games into full screen move I can't return to window mode (ALT+Enter) nor I can stop/exit the game since the exclusive video mode doesn't allow for the screen to appears so I can say "YES" to stop the emulation. This is incredibly annoying since the only options that I have left is either to play the games in Window mode or, if in full screen, to use the Task Manager and kill the application to leave the locked video screen in full mode. Is there any way to solve this issue? Tried, as mentioned here ESC + Space bar but it didn't make any difference. Is there a way to remove the window asking to stop the emulation so once ESC is pressed it goes back to Dolphin itself? THANKS! |
