Windows 7 has fairly low overhead and performance if comparable to if not better than XP.
I've been using Windows 7 since it's release and it has been good to me so far, quite the improvement over Vista.
I tried both. And sorry i was wrong, somewhat games work faster some slower, depends on your hardware and the rev ur using
