Im having an annoying problem with the Wii emulator when i put in Mario kart to play it . First , I have 3.2ghz 4mb cache dual core processor , 4gb rams , 1tb harddrive and vga 8600GT 256mb . When i emulate the game and play , the emulator hogs up my pc processor so bad it reaches 100% and the game lags so so bad , why would that happen? when people with less comp specification run it fine on their pcs , anyone know what could be the issue here? first i thought it may be a bad game copy , but then i tried another one and same thing happened.

thats perfectly normal. It is very hard to emulate the gamecube and wii. It lags for just about everyone.

1. You didn't state what processor you have. There are MANY "duel core" processors and not all are fast especially for use with dolphin. That is not a accurate assessment to make.
2. Dolphin is VERY CPU heavy. Expect 100% on a duel core processor. 3. No need to make everything bold. 4. Did you look up the Mario thread first and read through for possible speed improvement options in dolphin? Do you have alot of background options running? You haven't stated which version of dolphin you are trying. You also have not stated which operating system you are on or if its 32 bit or 64 bit.

He's not even using the right emulator, or it's hacked badly and someone is using different revision names. It's no wonder he is having problems.

What revision are you using, it should say in the left hand corner of the Window. If the revision number is not there it is either a pre-svn release or a hacked build.
No one here has heard of such a version and revision 4650 does not exist yet, that is why we ask. If you aren't sure, download a known clean build from any of the members in this section if you haven't done so already: http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/forum-6.html 10-20-2009, 11:46 AM
acquire a legitimate build and clean out your pc.
