Emulation is a high technical "big computer geek" thing. Your system is clearly underpowered on CPU for Dolphin... I really can't emphasize this enough. Dolphin just does not work well when it is running too slow. Games are timing specific, and even for me, Wii Bowling requires a system far more powerful in CPU than you have.

I know you desire it, because it is cool, but that doesn't change the laws of the universe. Your system is far underpowered.

Again, I'm just trying to help you. The Wii console is $100 (without controllers and games) and plays the games pretty damn well. Dolphin on my $850 i7 3.1Ghz laptop can not really match it performance wise in all games... but pretty damn good.

Why are you getting mad at me for no reason? How does anything you sad just now help me?
IF you would to help me, you would tell me how can I make my computer better. How can I increase performance for Dolphin. Better processor? Which one? What else?

I'm not mad, but I think you underestimate the difficulty of the task at hand. Even if you get all better hardware, emulation is still a complex and time-consuming task. YES, it can have benefits, but it isn't trivial. it is difficult.

For desktop systems: An Intel Sandy Bridge i5-2500 looks to me to be a good choice for a starter Dolphin CPU. About $180 and should do fine. A new motherboard is around $120. I really don't think ANY AMD CPU is going to able to keep up. More cores, beyond 2, does not help the specific needs of Dolphin.

Of course, these prices aren't all the same in the world. This is not about saving money, this is about learning, experimenting, and problem-solving. But it is often a slow and time-consuming learning and fixing process.

Low settings? How the flying poop do I do that? Honestly, there are not many settings in Dolphin to decrease the quality, rather to increase it. I already have everything at low, even a 1000x800 resolution, just be cause 1900x1600 lags as hell.

And is that the best "deal with it" picture you could find? Unprofessional, newbish pixel art, that rather makes you say "awwww" instead of get "mad". Umad?

Why not? What kind of a grudge do you have against AMD? No, I am seriously asking. Why would intel be better? Your personal flavor or is it just better for Dolphin? Be cause honestly, it's the same thing with different name.

a lot of people (i remember a lot of the moderators too) saying something about the performance of Intel is better, but more expensive. AMD is more cost-effective but doesn't have as much raw power, which is what Dolphin needs

Edit: btw, thats the original "deal with it" animation, and no i'm not mad. 1000x800 is still a high resolution.

I've been just googling and as I see, if AMD has 3400Mghz, it infact has 3000. If intel has 3400 Mghz, it infact has that much.

Pentium 4 3GHz does not run Dolphin as fast as as i5 at 3GHz

its the different architectures that also affect the speed

If you wonder how a wii looks on your computer screen, check it out with Dolphin in 480p and no AA. Although your display drivers may still enchant the image a little
