DirectX10 makes nothing for Dolphin. Install DirectX9. Nothing will be wrong with DirectX10. You'll just have both DirectX9 & DirectX10.

Dolphin Vista Conflict?

You need DirectX Nov 2008 Update, it doesn't matter if you have 10 or not. MS makes updates to the DirectX Runtime of dx9 and dx10. Make sure also to have latest MS C++ runtime installed.
Dolphin works fine for me: Vista Home Premium SP1 x64.

Vista 32bit and Windows 7 64bit (should be the same architecture underneath on both) and no problems here. I even have a crappy graphics card. ^_^ Aside from the occasional needing to upgrade DirectX to the latest version when I'm not compiling myself, everything has been normal for me.
Quote:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/re...FC422D1388 You're in the right place. The DirectX updater will automatically grab the newest files it can each time it's run, so if you need the Nov 2008 files, it will snag them or anything newer. The version of the files it downloads isn't on that page since it always searches for the newest version. 04-01-2009, 05:13 AM
Wait, I had previous version of dolphin working on my pc work, so that should mean I already have that update?
DolphinSVN1713 works just fine. Doesn't this version require DirectX Nov 2008 Update and DirectX Runtime ? 08-04-2009, 04:38 AM
I have this problem with Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO in version 3896, no matter which application I use (x64, x86 or x86IL).
My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 x64.
