I have an OC'd i5-3570k so CPU shouldn't be the problem. However, I am still waiting for my new GPU (AMD HD 7950 or the Nvidia equivalent). In the meantime, I am using my old 5770. I was able to run Persona 4 on the PCSX2 in 5x native resolution. Do you think my set-up can run Xenoblade Chronicles in at least 3x native resolution and 16 AF (with the HD texture pack)?

Also, which the best dolphin version to play this game? Should I just use the latest one?

Thanks

You should always be using either the latest build or the latest stable build (3.5). We cannot recommend older versions of Dolphin since they lack features and have many problems that have been fixed.
PC Specs
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1500X 3.5GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
RAM: 8GB 2400MHz DDR4
OS: Windows 10 64-Bit

Probably.

Yes. Or 3.5

No. I could be wrong but I wouldn't think it would effect performance significantly. Also I don't know which texture pack you're referring to.

That's right. However some games may work perfectly with some old builds or versions. When you encountered no issue at all there's no reason not to mention it. In this case this is more an advice (according to your own experience) from a player to another one than a recommendation.

For this game you'd better use a recent build yeah
