I'm running dolphin on a dv7t dual core 2.4ghz laptop with an ati 4530 graphics card..
As an example at 1600x900 full screen using tweaked settings, wii sports will be at around 34 fps once the game is loaded and ready to play (after going through say the tennis menu then the match starts)..
I wanted to boost this fps.. so i experimented with lower resolutions..
I found that if i set the res to 800x600, it would give me much higher fps, but the wii screen didnt fill the screen.. sorta 4:3'd.. i tried all the various settings like force widescreen, set to stretch etc.. nothing.
Does anyone know how to tweak this to make this stretch?
Does anyone know at the full resolution if i'm getting a decent fps for this laptop?
**I also found that if i unchecked full screen.. went with 800x600 windowed mode.. loaded up the game, then expanded the window by alt-enter.. i was able to achieve around 45 fps.
This is a little more tedious though, ultimately i'd like to automate all of this so no keyboard is necessary (command line launching via a custom gui).
Any tips would be great.
Thanks
