EDIT: I dont know if everybody noticed yet, since in the compatibility list it says that its an Intro only game in the emulation state, but Wave Race Blue Storm is running at fullspeed without any graphics or sound bugs on Dolphin RC1 over DirectX9 Plugin, the emulator stability is almost perfect to me, in fact, the only thing that is still annoying me is that on DX Plugin (and sometimes on OGL) every time I try to go in or out fullscreen it crashes, doesnt matter what game you are running, but I think that has been already reported, so my feedback is only about the Wave Race fix...*

*Enable EFB Copy to Texture

EDIT2: Just found a stability bug in Wave Race: When entering Free Roam mode it crashes almost everytime, I was able to play it one time out of 11 tries.... Also, found little sound bug on Replay mode..

I too get the Wave Race crash on free roam
the error i get is
VartoD3D: Invalid type/size combo 0 , 4
Failed to create D3D vertex declaration

Yup that is it, this occurs because the something in the plugin code cant run some render function the game does when entering that mode, so we just have to wait...

Report: Metroid Prime II is apparently broken on RC1, I tryed messing up with the options, but it wont start, I'll post the error message later...

EDIT: Ooops sorry, it seems that the problem is fixed by enabling FIFO BP Hack, we need to do that only on RC1 it seems....

i played it today (GCN) you have to: Right click on game name -> Properties -> enable FIFO BP Hack
but it wont start without the hack

Yup, sound plugin seems to be quite buggy in some games lately, hope they fix that back before the release....

I'm having trouble getting the RC1 to run on my laptop. I won't be surprised if you tell me I don't have the hardware I need.

I'm running Fedora 12 (2.6.32.9-67.fc12.i686), with a "ATI Technologies Inc Radeon XPRESS 200M 5955 (PCIE)" using the 'radeon' opensource driver. 1GB memory and "AMD Turion™ 64 Mobile Technology ML-40" for my cpu.

I can operate the configuration tools with out issue, as well as pair my wiimote via bluetooth with out any issue (which was very exciting!)

Here's the output to the terminal when I opened and configured dolphin-emu, and tried to run a game. I have a desktop that is able to run this ISO with svn revision 4883 (relatively slowly), so I'm not ready to blame the ISO file.

Any ideas?

Ok, Same hardware, Windows7 32bit

Every time I run a game, I get "Error loading Plugins/Plugin_GCPad.dll: can't read info" and then dolphin crashes. Same thing happens if I click the button for the Wii or GCPad configuration button, but the Wii button errors with the Wiimote dll file.

Is the forward slash a problem? How do I fix this problem?

this bug report doesn't help anyone go to: dolphin\User\Logs\dolphin.log remove it
make the bug happen again
submit that file here
