Hey everyone!
I’m not sure if this issue has been said before, but if it hasn’t, here we go...
I was recently making a Captain Falcon Classic Mode Melee TAS (using NTSC) and everything was going well. Save states working, frame advance was fine, a slight delay but I worked around it.
But eventually, about 13000 frames in, Dolphin completely freezes. I had to go to the Task Manager to close it down.
Before I closed it, I noticed it was using nearly *half* of my available RAM, almost 8 GB.
Is there any way for me to stop Dolphin from using this much memory during TASes? Do I have to clear it out every once in a while? And if so, how do I do that?
Thanks so much ^^
Edit: I figured out that it only uses more RAM if and only if frame advance is used. Hopefully that may help with a solution?
Edit 2 (4/23/20): I should also mention that the RAM starts out low, what it normally would be using, but as more frame advance is used, the more RAM it uses. I still am unsure over how to fix this issue.
