Using Dolphin 5.0, Windows 10, and Nvidia Geforce GTX 960M (Optimus).
Borderless fullscreen mode works fine.  No problems when using that mode.
But when I press ESC, or Alt+Tab to leave Exclusive Fullscreen mode, Dolphin stops responding, draws itself over every other window, and makes the computer very hard to use.  I'm not sure whether the NVIDIA Driver is to blame or not.

Pressing ESC:

Dolphin Window becomes unmaximized, acts as if it is topmost (Always On Top), takes up almost all space on the screen.
Get a spinning cursor.
Hear the sound of the Quit comfirmation dialog box appearing, but can't see it.
Cannot move or close the Dolphin window, neither from the close buttons, nor right clicking on the task bar and choosing Close.
Alt Tab menu appears fine, but can't see any other windows behind the Dolphin window.
Can press Alt+Ctrl+Del, it will display the security screen, and allow opening the task manager, but the task manager draws behind the frozen Dolphin window, making it very hard to use.
Can use Task Manager to end task, but can't see anything I'm doing.  Typing 'dol' then hitting Alt+E seems to end the task okay, but only if I was at the correct tab in the task manager.
Can Logout with the Alt+Ctrl+Del menu, but that closes everything.

Pressing Alt+Tab:

Alt Tab menu does not appear, Dolphin is no longer the active task, but is topmost on the screen, and does not update the screen (as it is not the active task), but can still alt tab back to Dolphin, which will resume fine.
If I alt tab away and try to use the computer, Dolphin becomes a black fullscreen window, but other windows can still draw on top of it, so I can use the task manager to kill it okay.

Pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del:

Windows Security screen appears, can start the Task Manager fine, otherwise acts just like pressing Alt+Tab.

I also tested out a previous version of the NVIDIA driver (362.00), and got different results.
In that version of the driver, pressing ESC displays a frozen black screen, but you can press Alt+Ctrl+Del to unfreeze it, then dismiss the dialog box as normal.

Out of curiosity, does Dolphin exhibit the same behaviors when using the OpenGL backend versus Direct3D? Not sure if that would make a difference, but it's worth testing, I suppose.

Tried the various backends, the problem only happens with Direct3D 11, not the others.  OpenGL and Direct3D 12 are fine, even when using exclusive fullscreen.

In the past, I had to switch to Direct3D mode to get around the infamous triangle tearing problem. I just tested it out right now, and using the OpenGL mode still results in Triangle Tearing. For those who don't know what this is, this is where every other frame is rendered to the top or bottom triangle of a single quad, resulting in an obvious diagonal seam in the middle of the screen.

I've got the machine from my profile which I use with the latest Dolphin settings... This doesn't happen for me, and I use Optimus as well... On windows 10 Anniversary edition with latest drivers and updates.
