*update ™ (if another one goes for the web without more content added)

Reno, the website guide transtation part has a mistake, that "example", should say the word strong is a tag (got me confused for a while but forgot to mention it xD).

I'm thinking about using Transifex to handle the translations, at least for the website. Anyone here has experience with that service?

Basically, it would allow translators to edit the translations directly online, get notified by an email when new strings need to be translated, etc. There is also a review system, and it could be integrated to automatically get the POT file from the Dolphin repository instead of having to manually update it all the time.

I uploaded the current translations from the master branch here if people want to try it out: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/dolphin-emu/

There are still a few details to work out, but would anyone here have an objection to switch to that kind of service to handle Dolphin translations?

Yeah I've used it before, but then someone needs to be the coordinator/maintainer to handle the invitations to the team to start translating right?

BTW:request sent to join spanish and catalan team.

Maintainers are what we need for better translations anyway. Many of the translations that we have atm are crap because they've been unmaintained for ages and/or because people put stuff into Google translator because they figured that would be better than having no translation at all.

I think having some appropriate tools would help a lot in managing that though. Being able to easily see if people reviewed a translation, if a translation needs some work (like the current Dolphin german translation... did not expect it to be that bad), and also send notifications to translators instead of assuming they all read this thread regularly, that kind of stuff should help getting the translations maintained.

Because it's there for testing at the moment and I imported translations from the master branch.
