Good question.  Unfortunately I don't have a PC available to test this.  Perhaps a Windows or linux user in the forum can do a similar test using Vulkan backend.

Thanks again. As for no error messages. I don't expect there to be any. I'm pretty sure this is a memory leak issue - i.e., the program isn't freeing up memory when it should.

Ahh ok. I go ahead and stop it. And GB is going down and down. Now, it reduces to 43.9mb as normal.

I think I'll end up making a bug report on this as potential memory leak is serious enough to warrant one. I will wait until your test on the PC.

I gave up about PC because I don't have time. I don't think there is no effect on PC but macOS only.

If there is a problem on PC, someone should report. Therefore, nobody reported it so maybe it doesn't effects PC at all.

No worries. And I agree, someone probably would have reported it by now if it is a problem on Windows or even Linux. Which kind of makes the case stronger that there's something up with the latest version of MoltenVK. I'd suggest the devs revert back to SDK 1.1.92.1 for now (for macOS users only) since that seems to fix things unless there's some code that depends on features introduced in the later versions.

I can confirm that the latest version (5.0-9888) crashes in Mojave 10.4.4 when I try to load a game.

Also, I downloaded the latest version of the vulkan library at (https://vulkan.lunarg.com/sdk/home), v 1.1.101, renamed MoltenVK.framework to libvulkan.dylib and placed it in Dolphin.app > Contents > Frameworks. Selected Vulkan in Graphics backend and I got a message saying "Failed to load Vulkan library"...

What do you mean by crashes?  It won't load games at all?  If that's the case, you may have a different problem.  The games run fine, it's just that Dolphin hogs up memory when I do (eventually, you may run out of memory and "crash" the program).

.framework files are different from .dylib.  What you want to replace libvulkan.dylib with (and rename) is libMoltenVK.dylib, which is included with the Vulkan SDK.

EDIT: also, the latest Dolphin come with v 1.1.101.0. You want to replace it with an older Vulkan distro, namely v 1.1.92.1.
