Dolphin suddenly won't work

I'm using FM 5.8.7 to play melee with NetPlay and over the last 6 months I haven't really had any problems. But over the last week dolphin will randomly crash, and then I can't use netplay for the next 20 minutes or so. If I try to host it will not give me a code and will say "Traversal server error", and I can't join other people who host. Even direct connect will not work. Restarting my computer does not fix this, the only thing I can do it wait it out.

Why did this start happening? And how can I fix this?
